USING THE SOUNDWISE APP

Step #1

If you forgot your password click on the words “Forgot Your Password” and an email will be sent to you so you can choose a new password.

Step #2

When you login to your account do not be surprised if the words “No Audio” appear.

The App is loading and in a few seconds all of your purchases will appear.

Step #3

As you can see the audiobooks we’ve purchased now appear on the screen.

You have many options, let’s choose the right arrow on the audiobook “A Zloor For Your Trouble.”

You may choose to download your audiobooks to your phone for a number of reasons.

If you decide to download your audiobooks to your phone simply click on the “cloud” icon.

As your audiobook is downloading you will see a progress bar.

When the download is complete you will see a checkmark.

Step #6

Click on the words “On Device” and you may now play your purchase directly from your phone even when you are not connected to the internet.

Click on the play button and enjoy your new audiobook!

You will now see a black row at the bottom of your screen that will give you access to many of the functions you may be used to when using other audiobook applications.

Click on the up arrow near the lower right hand corner of your screen to see the options designed to enhance your listening experience.

If you like your new audiobook we appreciate you clicking on the heart, or LOVE button.

If you want to adjust the playback speed click on this icon in the lower left hand corner of your screen.

Simply choose your preferred playback speed and enjoy!

This checkmark confirms your selection.

After you choose the speed you prefer this screen may or may not close automatically.

If it doesn’t close, touch the little gray bar and pull it down to close it manually.

You will also see confirmation of your selection highlighted in orange near the lower left hand corner of your screen.

You may change speeds as many times as you like.

Now let’s check out the sleep timer.

As you can see the sleep timer has many options.
Just click the time you want your app to play before going silent.

After you’ve made your selection touch the little gray bar and pull it down to close the sleep timer screen.

When you stop listening the app will “remember” where you are and automatically begin playback at that time.

The controls on either side of the play button give you the option to move back or move ahead 30 seconds.

You may also use the slider to move back and forth.

Just grab the little orange dot and move to your desired location.

Close this screen by clicking on the down arrow in the upper right hand corner.

The “Discover” button in the center at the bottom of the screen will show you other Lost Sci-Fi audiobooks available for purchase.

The easiest way to see all of the audiobooks we’ve narrated is to click on “Lost SciFi”.

Scroll up to see all of the available audiobooks.

Simply click on the image to get more information and to make a purchase in the app.

You will see more information about the audiobook here.

If you are looking at a bundle or compilation of audiobooks available for a single purchase this screen will allow you to see each of the books in the bundle.

To purchase the audiobook click on the orange “Get Access” button and you will be taken to the checkout screen.

To get back to your audiobooks simply click on the “Library” button in the lower left hand corner.

Why are the prices so low?

How do I listen to my audiobooks?

We narrate other genres for publishers and have no control over the prices of those audiobooks, but we can control these prices. Since we want as many people as possible to enjoy these vintage science fiction audiobooks from the 1930s, 40s, 50s and 60s, we’re happy offering lower prices.

We think audiobooks are overpriced and when you buy from other retailers they take a huge chunk of the money. After credit card fees we keep most of the money when you buy direct from us through LostSciFi.com. So, thank you!

When you make a purchase, you will be instructed to either download the Soundwise mobile app or listen through the web interface. The soundwise app is available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store worldwide.

When you log in on the mobile app, the audiobooks you purchased will automatically load. You can stream the audiobooks or download them within the app for off-line listening on the go. Simple, right? You can also listen to your audiobooks on your favorite web browser right on your computer.
